Track is TAMU's best sport, currently.

Mizzou loses several of Mike's players, Haith can't recruit with out pay for play, all down hill from here.

Our men's basketball program is a big train wreck right now. Players leaving the team, a boring coach, that has Parkinson's. Its just a tough situation overall.

For A&M I'd say baseball, and sports that don't matter like track and women's basketball.

Mizzou I'd say men's basketball, and football. They should compete well in the SEC East.

When I was at Jacksonville State, A&M's basketball coach was there making 75,000 a year before Witchita State took him away for about 200,000 a year to start.

What conference are they going to be in for wrestling? Or are they just going to be independent.

Realize it's not among the popular sports, but how many SEC schools offer swimming and diving? MU has a world-class aquatics facility. Just curious.

And IMHO, MU will be reasonably competitive in football and basketball. In women's sports, we're pretty strong in softball.

Auburn has an elite swim team. Overall, swimming in the SEC is competitive.

eta: I'm not sure if all the SEC schools have swim & dive teams. Just off the top of my head, I know LSU, Bama, AU, Ark, UT, UGA, A&M, & UF do.

It's the SEC all sports are popular. It will be something to get used to for you guys but pretty much any SEC athletic squad will get a lot of support from the fanbase...Gymnastics is a mainstream sport on this board...

basketball.

and i think a&m will come in and will challenge arky, uga, and sc for the 3rd best team in the conference right away.

but all 4 still a very significant step down from the top 2, lsu & bama.
