I've only been to Nashville twice so I'm not too familar. Where is everyone going? I'm a LSU fan but I'm going up to support SEC. We're going to stay for New Years so anyone know where to go? I remember the downtown area being active but I wanna go where the fans are.

well, I'm not the nightlife guy but if you like breakfast food(s),particularly pork products, you need to try the Loveless Cafe out Tenn Hwy 100 west of downtown about 15 miles. Not too far off I-40.

Won't be disappointed. If you like steak, try The Stockyard.

Downtown. Some State alum owns a sports bar near the stadium and is hosting a pre game party. I'm not sure of the name, I'll try to fins out and let you know.

There's a stage set up right by the river at the end of broadway. There will be lots of bar tailgating right in that area. Like someone said, there is a state grad owned bar right by it and there will be a lot of fans there before and after the game. On the 29th there is a battle of the bands, some other events, and a big party at wild horse.

As a Nashville resident, the places for nightlife will be downtown along 2nd Ave S/ Broadway. Downtown will be most of your tourists and out of towners. A mix of all ages.

The area called The Gulch on 12th avenue is a trendy place with cool restaurants and bars. This will be a more 20-30 somethings crowd of locals.

There is a strip of bars off Demonbreun and Division street that are always packed. This will be a younger crowd including college, 20 somethings. It is a meat market.

The Vanderbilt area has many trendy bars and places to hang as well. If you like really different, swanky, and kinda expensive places then try a place called The Patterson House. The best cocktails in the city without a doubt. It is an old prohibition period "speak easy". It is expensive but worth it one time. VERY COOL PLACE.

All are pretty close to downtown and accessible via walking or short, cheap cab ride.

PANCAKE PANTRY!!!! When my brother went to Vandy I used to eat there every morning. The line is always long unless you get there early.

Tourist trap and it's overrated.

Make the 50 foot walk to Fido instead.

Yazoo is the go-to Nashville brew.

It's decent. Nothing to start fist-pumping about, but I like Dos Perros OK.

Hops Project can be OK depending on what batch you get. Some of them are good, some are gross.
