Recruiting implies a possibility for failure, Saban merely allows people to play for BAMA.
I think every recruit in the country has been a lock to Bama at some point or wasn't considered worthy once they chose another school.
Are you guys tired of the Chuck Norris commercial yet too.

The sad thing is, imagine what Saban could do for recruiting at Texas. Texas essentially has 20 4-star+ guys locked down every year in state and with Saban's ability to recruit, what could he lock down from the rest of the country.

You can flame all you want, but as an Auburn fan the guy is a monster recruiter. I hate saying it and wish it weren't so, but Saban is one of if not the best recruiting HC in the country. His results and college career supports that. Damn it to hell I hate that man (Only because he coaches Bama), but respect the hell out of him too.

I think Saban recruits to his teams needs as good as anyone. If he needs a DT,CB,OT he will go recruit the best Juco player he can find. I think Saban enjoys recruiting I think he likes selling the program. You must love recruiting to do it as much as he does. JMO
