Any of you Bama recruiting specialist hearing this?

I was also told he will come visit after the dead period with his pal Geno Smith.

TIA

Yes, I wondered, if we had room, but I bet Saban would make room to pull another one from Auburn.

What is Chizik doing?

Seems like putting his OC/DC hires on the back burner is going to kill his recruiting class.

I don't know if you're joking, but I wouldn't doubt it. The guy will cut you to the bone.

So, we don't have room huh?

I know Geno was tweeting about coming to UA, but may just be talk.

UGA will get a good one, if he does.

That's what I was hinking, but to be honest I'm hearing more in the way of Ricky parks potentially flipping to us rather than holsey. Wouldn't mind holsey coming here at all though

Are you serious? Malzahn has been gone for a week and Roof two weeks. Do you really think Chizik has just been dicking around the last two weeks?

Getting a great coordinator that fits what he wants to do is more important than losing one or two recruits, not that I'm ok with that happening, but for the long term betterment of the program, I'd be ok with trading one or two guys for a really good DC/OC rather than hiring someone for the sake of hiring someone to help recruiting.

Ya I just dont see how we could possibly have room for him. Although we are still recruiting 2 corners from Miami, so maybe we do have room.

Possibly in the works.....far from a done deal though

That being said Bama would gladly take him, he is good friends with Geno and very Javy Arenas type mold CB, packs a punch and also shows great vision, speed, and escapability as a WR on O. I can tell you that Geno is working hard on this the same way Ryan worked on TJ......if this situation heats up I will let you guys know

Parks is almost a done deal to UGA from what I'm hearing, he was a big time fan of Malzahn and the whole time the UGA coaching staff was pitching his parents and telling them Gus wouldn't be back and now that he left the parents are working hard to get him to stay close to home.

there's just one little problem with this statement.... Hogansville is closer to Auburn than Athens.... straight shot down I85.

I think Holsey is a true talent, but I just don't see room for him. Bama can sign 28-29. Right now they are at 22. Still on the board are:

JJenkins
JWinston
EGoldman
LCollins
DBush
CJones
ATaylor
TDixon
CWard
DBelue
DMcCullers
THoward

Add Holsey to that mix and that's 13 kids for at best 7 spots. I think Bama feels really good about Dixon, Winston, Goldman, Jones, and Jenkins. If that's true, then that leaves 2 spots for 8 kids to battle over. I think Holsey stays with AU (60%), flips to UGA (25%), and Bama (15%). Just my two cents on it. Nothing more than educated guess.

The only credible info and reason for this coming up that I have heard is people talking about the tweets that Geno and Joshua had. I know he is planning on visiting UA and UGA after the dead period, but he has also come out and said he is still solid to AU and is going to wait and see who we hire as a DC.

Could he flip? Sure, but I don't think this is going to happen any time soon, if at all.

On Parks, another kid who has come out and said he is 100% (as much as that is worth now adays). UGA is a still a player for him, but if we make a good OC hire, I've heard he will probably stay.

Again, all this is still very liquid at the moment so it can change on a dime, but thats what I'm hearing.

Yeldon said the same thing........Jus sayin.

Anyway, sounds like we don't have room, but he could be a fall back plan for Saban.

I know. You can't trust a kid anymore these days, but you can't completely discredit him. Holsley has given me no reason to not trust his word at this time, he is a good kid.
