I am hearing from LSU fans that they expect to increase their margin of victory in the BCSCG because of the improvement their offense has made since 11/5. Looking at the game stats against ALA and GA I don't see the improvement.

ALA-58 plays 239 yards 9-17-2 Passing 91 yards
148 yards rushing on 41 attempts

GA 48 plays 237 yards 5-13-0 30 Passing yards
207 yards rushing on 35 attempts

In what areas has the offense improved? No interceptions but only 30 yards passing. Looks like you are more one-dimensional without JL at QB.

Looks more like we just decide to pound it down your throat since the other team can't stop it. Throw in a pass or two minute drill here or there and then RUN RUN RUN RUN. Try and stop it. Bama sure couldn't the first time around.

Why don't you include the Arky and Ole Miss games?

How did the Bama offensive stats fair on Dec 3rd?

Do not worry about the LSU offense, it will show up on Jan 9th.

+2.3 yards per rush, from 3.6 against Bama to 5.9 against UGA - not that Bama isn't a significantly better defense, but they're similar in style and personnel.

A little more explosive and JJ is back into the groove (he had not played very much up to his time in the Bama game). We remain committed to the run, no doubt.

What makes you think Bama is going to play better away from home? Or are ya'll still sticking with "LSU didn't get Bama's best shot"?

Is Bama's defense trending down?

LSU - 9 points in overtime

Georgia Southern - 21 points in regulation

Bama's defense now gives up 233% more points than they did on 11/5. Stats!

Cool. We got into the championship with a loss and not even winning our division. Our national prominence trumps all. Deal with it.

Keep in mind those 207 yards were in the 2nd half. Against a Georgia defense that claimed they were better then both LSU and Alabama
