I say losing by 3 to LSU.

Followed by Arky, Penn State, and shutting out a pretty good Vandy team. After that ??

Yep, that 3 point loss is what looks best on their resume.

Without Bama hurting their entire team, there would have been no losing streak.

I'd say shutting out Vandy
they gave a pretty solid team their worst loss of the year

losing is rarely an impressive performance
LSU beat Arkansas just as badly, so meh
Wisconsin blew Penn State out 45-7

Bama's 1 loss is their best win.

I dont know, we've stomped everyone we have played this year besides LSU. I'd say us going into Happy Valley and dominating with a green QB was pretty awesome.

What is LSU's most impressive performance?

I'd say surviving Bama's four missed FGs, followed by beating 2 loss Oregon. After that??

Congrats Bama, it must feel great to only lose to LSU by 3 in OT.

I'm just responding to the lunacy of this thread with lunacy in kind. Bama beat 4 teams in the top 20, and 5 in the top 25. We can't help what happened to them after the fact. In the case of UF, I doubt they lose to AU with a healthy Brantley on the field, and maybe not to UGA.

LSU has had an incredible year. no doubting it. however, whatever team won that game on Nov 5th can't claim they "dominated" the other. the winner survived an epic battle. That's a fact. I think that was LSU's most impressive win. The next most impressive was beating Oregon. What would you say after that? It's a fair question.

I wonder how ugly it will get if they are not able to dominate LSU on the field.

better than claiming Arkansas their best win.

No, but you don't get the same credit based on what happened after the fact, either. Saying you beat X ranked teams based on what they were ranked when you played them, not on what they ended up, is one of the most misleading arguments you can make.

Big wins over UGA in Atlanta and over Arkansas at home. I think Arkansas is clearly Bama's best win, also.

3 missed, 1 blocked.

While they were long even for NFL kickers because you could only get in our redzone once.

And we threw two terrible picks early in the game that we gift wrapped to you. And RR dropped a TD pass.

This can go both ways. Only thing that matters is your inability to move the ball in OT to get into decent field goal range. We ran in right at you to the 1 yard line and won the game.

9-6.

Well seeing that we beat the:
2011 PAC 12 Champions (Oregon)
2011 Big East Champions (WVU)
2011 SEC West Champions (UGA)

I would say we have some pretty impressive wins on our resume. What did we beat in Bama? Nothing.

In reality we got nothing for beating Bama. Thats the problem about being at the top. You get nothing and no movement when you are #1.
