do you waste any time in game prep on the chance that Lee gets in the game, or do you give all your time to defending the zone read offense?

My point is, miles is really a genius. What do they do? Because I can tell you, no one knows what Miles game plan will be for offense. We expect all JJ, and that may be the plan, but I don't know that. and even so, what plays will the OC be calling?

Based on the past history, no one really knows, except the Mad Hatter.

We will plan for JJ. We prepared for Lee last time, and all the JJ time caught us off guard. We will be all JJ this time and beat the shite out of you. Have a nice night.

You game plan for every possible occurrence. Though I believe that is one of Saban's weaknesses. He does tend to over prepare at times and that can sometime lead to a defense becoming confused because they're looking for way too many things.

I saw that when he was with LSU also.

I don't buy into this excuse by ESPN 'Experts.' You knew JJ would play. You knew what he was capable of after facing him two years in a row. Give us more credit than that. You got outplayed and out coached. simple as that.

When you were kicking long FG's you should have punted. That's what we did instead of forcing our kicker into a long attempt. We played a game of field position and conservative offense. bama played a game full of risks.

Did you see Lee last game? It isn't hard to game plan for a guy who shits himself and throws passes to the wrong colored jerseys. It'll be a JJ and I imagine Alabama will be much better at defending the option.

Alabama got out coached for sure. It was more Saban and company calling ridiculous plays and not playing Alabama football. This time I hope they get back to the way they played every other game. If they are good enough to win then good, if not so be it.

So what you're saying is...nobody can read Les Miles' mind.

Tremendous revelation.

Outcoached maybe.......outplayed hardly

More offensive yds more attempts to score just no sp teams or kicker which a part of the game as well

Bama has a better D than LSU, just didn't have enough time in 2 weeks to prepare for a dedicated option. JLee came out because he couldn't cut the mustard and every week before that JLee had been racking up impressive passing numbers gashing teams especially deep. That is not JJ's game at all, and he is a totally different player in a game when he is the starter, there is almost no deep passing threat. Force him to pass deep and pressure and its almost like kryptonite he can't read a d worth a crap, but bring him in as an option QB or run that extensively (which is what LSU is gonna try I suspect since it is the only shot they have at being productive on offense if Bama D prepares accordingly) and as you know option passing is a calculated small amount on PA not usually deep. It could get really ugly real quick for LSU if that is Les gameplan especially if he doesn't have JLee.

JJ still only scored 9 points. I see this being a much higher scoring game with both teams having a month to prepare. Our Offense needs to score TDs this time though - not so much worried about the D.

Our D is too good for any game to get "really ugly real quick." We didn't play all that great Nov. 5 (Credit to Bama) and still won on the road at a hostile environment. I just don't see a blowout for either team in this game.
