Other than the jacked up system that decides the national championship game, how does the BCS decide the other bowl games? Looking at the BCS standings it makes absolutely no sense to me how 2 other SEC teams get left out of BCS bowl games and are in the top 10. So, how does the BCS choose who plays in the 4 BCS bowl games?

They don't. The bowls select the teams they want with some certain conference tie ins and restrictions/guidelines from the BCS.

And as the rules stand today, only two schools from the same conference can go. So ArKansas and USC get SCREWED!!!!

Pretty easy.

Conference champions are locked into certain bowl games. SEC = Sugar, ACC = Orange, Big 12 = Fiesta, Big 10 = Rose, Pac 12 = Rose.

If a conference champion is playing in the BCS title game, the bowl losing that team gets to pick from the remaining at large teams.

No conference can have more than 2 teams in a BCS bowl unless there are extraordinary circumstances.
