What kind of system does Bama use for distributing Student Tickets? I'm curious about both regular season Home and Away games and SEC Championship/Bowl tickets. Including how they determine which students get lower bowl vs upper bowl, etc.

I'm trying to compare other schools systems with LSU's, who I think has its entire student ticket system pretty close to perfect, but it is all I know so...

It's by hours whether you get them or not, and your seats are determined by when you pick them up at the Superdome.

ETA: this is for SEC championship and bowl games.

They don't want students to be able to sell the tickets so they make you go to the stadium in order to get them for bowl games and the SEC championship game.

So students who have say 100+ hours, but haven't attended but 2 home games will get a ticket over someone that may have only 60 hours but has attended all the games?

No, they have penalties in place to keep people from doing that. If you miss more than 3 games, you forfeit the ability to buy post season tickets as well as next season tickets.
