ESPN and the microwave society.

How many "coaches" do a ton of research on this to see who they should vote for? How many Big 12 coaches will have Bama ahead of OSU?

The big argument against a playoff is that it keeps the regular season special. If Bama gets a rematch does that still ring true?

And IMHO, nothing is special about it anymore because so much is played out in the media. It has probably always been this way but there are more people aware of it or more people schilling for whoever now.

Nothing is special about the national champion being decided in any other place but on the field.

...is because Bama might get left out of a BCS rematch against a team that they already lost to.
