What will these anti-rematch people say if Oklahoma State loses on Saturday? It's not like they're playing the Citadel. They're playing Oklahoma, a fairly dangerous team.

the Citadel.
Uncool and unwarranted dig on the Citadel.

Vote for someone who DID win and only has one loss, or change their mind about a rematch...just a hunch.

not an issue cause Okie State is the 2nd best team in the nation
Fact: LSU Beat Alabama
Fact: LSU has not Beaten Okie State

The same thing the article says. ANY of the one loss teams.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but I certainly see the logic.

What?!? But ESPN is so pro-Bama. I expect Reilly to be fired by close of business.

That it's LSU vs Bama.

So UA/LSU game was boring but LSU beating OSU 48-10 will be thrilling?
Rick Reilly can suck a cock. SEC Hate in every word of that column.

Don't have to. In the driver's seat, like it or not. OSU is the one that has to beg for voters to change their minds.

Welcome to BCS logic.
Of course, if Alabama wins Walking Dead II, the Tide will be … what? National champions? How? They'll have one loss, same as all the other contenders. They'll have split the home-and-home series with LSU. They won't even have won their SEC division, much less their conference. Yet they could wind up petting the crystal football.
Alabama might be the #2 team in the country, but they are disqualified for playing for #1 in my opinion. They had their chance. #2 should be their ceiling.
They can finish #2 after the season. But, they had a chance at #1 on November 5th and they blew it, in my opinion.
Now, if LSU loses to Georgia, that changes everything.

Oh, trust me, I want to beat yall again in NOLA. Beating Saban/Bama again, while ESPN sucks them off would be the icing on the best season in CFB.

The season is not over yet, they have not made up their minds yet.

That's once again assuming that these 1-loss teams will remain 1-loss teams. If OSU loses on Saturday they will be a 2-loss team. If Virginia Tech loses on Saturday they will be a 2-loss team. If Stanford loses their bowl game they will be a 2-loss team. All of these losses are highly probable as every single one of those teams will be playing high profile opponents.
If Alabama beats LSU in a rematch I am all in favor of a split national championship.

The first LSU-Alabama game was more boring than Tim Tebow's porn stash. To play another one will be like remaking "J. Edgar" or attending a goiter convention.
I lol'd
