Is Malzahn still an offensive genius?

before the season, a few of us here tried to remind Auburn fans that you're only as good as your OL. But Aubarn fans thought it didnt matter as long as they had Gus the Great.
2011:
10th in the SEC in total offense
9th in scoring offense
10th in sacks allowed
10th in passing offense
5th in rushing offense (with 2 probable NFL RB's)
Those arent the stats of "genius"

Mullen has two titles as an OC- Malzahn 1
Mullen's offense was higher in most categories than Aubarn's- and supposedly Mullen is a "shitty recruiter"
So Malzahn, with better players, couldnt do as well as Mullen- not sure how that makes Gus better

Without the rented mule, Gus & Cheezewhiz aren't even mediocre - take away the 14 - 0 last year and what is the record?

The offensive line early in the year AU would have had a decent offense, the offensive line at the last of the year no one could do much with it.
And yes I'd take Gus over Mullen any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Ugh Gus had the top offense at Tulsa two years, vastly imrpoved Ark's offense. AU's offense was top 20 in 2009 and 1010, since Gus has been an OC at the college level he's had 1 bad year.
