Im watching the LSU vs ARKY replay. Why was that dumbass, wildcat shite called in the third quarter with T Wilson sitting on the bench. You guys could have tied the game here. May have made things a little more interesting. What a disappointing coaching call. Discuss...

Wilson was just thrown on his shoulder after a pretty good hit. I'm guessing they wanted to make sure he was okay before asking him to pass again.

They were trying to keep the score close, which apparently we were supposed to do as well.

Maybe so. He was pretty pissed at the coaches on the sideline FWIW.

It was an awful snap. That play goes nowhere no matter who the qb was. So im not sure it matters.

Unless you somehow know Wilson wouldve been under center had he been in.

We've done that in several games all year, Brandon Mitchell has scored a few times that way.

Really had nothing to do with the playcall...had everything to do with the snap. Mitchell did fine considering what happened.

I guess the way Wilson was so upset about being on the sideline is what brought "fail" to my attention. Maybe i misread the whole thing.

Bad snap or not... it was a dumb call. It was not your high percentage play in that situation. Total desperation on the part of the coaching staff.

And you know this how? We've used it before and it works. Plus I really think Wilson was somewhat out of it...I could be wrong.

Petrino is not perfect. Even if he was overthinking it, oh well. It happens.

LSU has faked field goals and punts successfully. I can't remember the last fake that didn't work.
Does that make it a smart call all the time?

If your QB was rocked, he certainly wasn't showing it on the sidelines.

Lulz. We run that package in the redzone a lot. That definitely wasn't a desperation play call by the staff.

And you forgot to mention that Petrino is classless too.

I don't care what he is as long as we continue to improve.

If you had a better defense... you'd be first tier SEC.

If you had a better coach... you'd already have a better defense.

Pretty sure we're first tier this year.
