Because they've convinced themselves LSU didnt win the game. Bama lost it. It's a convenient form of denial.

I've definitely been calling for a rematch, but I haven't been arrogant and saying we're gonna whip you this time, etc etc. But I'll address your point about NOLA that every LSU fan is getting wrong.

New Orleans Superdome is not a home game for LSU. It is a neutral site. The tickets will be split 50-50. LSU will have to travel, Bama will have to travel. LSU will have fans in the streets and so will Bama. It is in your home state, but as national media and both fans contingencies take over (Bama has larger fanbase btw) things will more or less even out. It will be a NEUTRAL site.

Is the SEC Championship a home game for UGA?

No, but it'll be 70/30 UGA most likely.

No, not even close to true. It's straight up a home game. Although to be fair, for Bama it isn't that far removed from Tuscaloosa either. But it is no doubt an LSU home game.

In Death Valley, LSU Fans comprise much much more than 55% of the fans present. They won't in the Superdome.

And yes, I've been to New Orleans and the Superdome many many times. It is mostly Saints country. It has more LSU fans than any other college team, but Baton Rouge it ain't.

You're right, it will be more around the 60% mark.

Ohio State begs to differ.

Each school gets 17,500 tickets, I believe. The rest will be basically LSU. So, if it makes you sleep better thinking 17,500 against 55,000 is a neutral site game...go for it. Ask OK and tOSU how neutral it was...

Oh...the streets in N.O. will be flooded with LSU fans...you can ask OK and tOSU about that too...

How dare fans of a team not called LSU have confidence they can win.

Yep, they out gained LSU and you needed Bama to choke away 4 Field Goals to win on OT.

Kicked. Their. arse.

I really think we shouldn't allow people outside of the Rant til February if 25% or more of their posts come from there. Also I don't think anyone should be allowed to register for the site for a while and kick out anybody who has registered since September, since they're likely to be either Gumps or Rantards and will make the boards as a whole even dumber. The boards have reached a new low over the past 2 weeks as far as IQ is concerned.

Actually, I think we came out ahead in total yards. We had 206 to their 18something? I can't recall exactly.

Nah, but the final was 9-6 so that's all that really mattered.
