...Filled the the Superdome? Would the backlash turn the SEC haters even more irate?

Just imagine, the ENTIRE stadium chanting it at the beginning of the game.

If its a rematch, I'll be incredibly disappointed if we don't lift the roof off the dome with the SEC chant BEFORE the kickoff...

Wouldn't happen. There would be some hardass fans who would sit and pout "I ain't cheerin less it's fer my team!".

Sure there would be some regions upset but you guys are making a bigger deal about it than it really is. There are several regions, the northeast, the west, that don't give two shits about CFB. So go ahead chant SEC, that will show them

i for one would be fine chanting it in a loss to lsu if that's how things played out. every other conference hates it so you gotta let them see the losing team do it too.

Did gumps and aubbies do it in 2009 and 2010? I know we did it after we beat ohio state in 2007. I remember the SEC chant very vividly after the game.

You're right, the West wouldn't care. The Pac 12 is a cute conference and all, but no one would notice.

Uh, we don't expect Granny Johnson in Portland to care...but the COLLEGE FOOTBALL FANS in all those regions most certainly WOULD care...just read the comments on ESPN articles about a rematch.

I for one have no problem with an all SEC championship. Those are the 2 best teams so im all for it. Im simply pointing out that CFB is not that big of a deal out here
