They will have NINE wins over ranked opponents and FOUR WINS over opponents ranked in the top five.
Has never happened before. Not even close.
Dome will also give LSU advantage in speed to the edge.

But I like our chance of making history in The Dome. LSU has always played about 10 points better there in previous Sugar Bowls and BCS games.
And yes, the carpet will magnify our speed.

If Oregon and WV win their next games they also win their conference (most likely WV will).
That would also give LSU wins away from tiger stadium over the PAC 12 and Big East Champ. That would be mighty impressive.
