Many thanks to the LSU fans at the game.
Clearly, the superior team won. We needed to play a complete game to compete, just too tough this time to do. Grats to an excellent team, you earned it.
The LSU fans were cordial and nice. They asked if we were enjoying ourselves, offered food and drink at almost tailgate area. Fans would yell Tiger Bait and then offer welcome in the next breath. Had a whole group Tiger Bait us and then an older lady came up and hugged me, thanking us for coming and wishing us well.
We started out at Walk Ons, pretty cool place, killer hush puppies (weird I know, but that was my favorite food there). Walking to the stadium, had several trucks of college kids drive by, Tiger Bait and wish us well. Some even shook hands.
A lot of nice looking ladies at LSU too, the were even friendly.
I was a late addition to the group so I sat in the middle of LSU fans. For the most part everyone was good, there was a guy in his 60s started yelling at me, he was about 5'6". I told him "Pawpaw, why don't you relax and everyone have a good time." His wife sat him down and we had some great discussions during the game.
After the game, people were still very nice and wished us well in the Bowl game and next season. Some helped me find my way back to our parking area.
Overall, LSU was a great experience for me and my friends. Thank you for a great time. Thank you.

Cleary you are being held hostage by LSU fans and they are forcing you to write this

All the Arky fans I met were great.
Just like all the Arky people I know irl.
Which makes my assholery on this board all the more diabolical...

All the arky fans I know actually attended the flagship, and they're great people. So, you know that the hog posters on here did not actually attend/graduate any university, let alone Arkansas.

I think it must mean that SLC is just not a very classy person, and therefore he had no problems with our trashy fanbase. A more classy Arkansas fan would have been righteously appalled by the scene, I'm sure.

glad you had a great trip man. You are one of the best Hog posters here. Yesterday my seats were smack dab in the middle of the Arkansas section. Had a great day talking to the Hogs

Must be it.
In all seriousness SLC, you are nothing but class and one of the best and most objective posters on the board. Glad you enjoyed your trip down.
IDC where you go in the SEC. IMO you have to be looking for a reason not to enjoy your experience to say one was terrible. Southern hospitality is spread throughout the SEC.

A lot of truth in your post Memphis. I try to avoid bad people and bad places, at games I do make eye contact with people, smile and tell them hi, ask them how they are doing.
The vast majority of people respond positively to that, the ones who don't are either drunk or simply an a-hole. If someone wants to find a bad time or find conflict, he can usually find it wherever he is.

Thanks for the concerned posts but the only people holding me hostage today are my kids. They let me get 1 hour of sleep. 1 hour. I'm too old for this.
