I think my fellow LSU fans could live with saban's departure for the dolphins, but many of us were unamused for his return to coach a conference rival.
meyer 'retiring' for a year and returning to coach O-H I-O is frigging ridiculous... sports talking heads opinion on the status of the buckeyes ranges from they're free and clear to sanctions on the horizon.
gator fan postings seem to be fairly rare on the rant this year... any of you lurking?

The general sentiment I am seeing form most Forida fans is that they don't care. Most are so beyond pissed at him for leaving the recruiting cupboard bare when he left, and lack the want for him to be their coach again.

why? he's human and he wanted out. if he was telling the truth about why he left, he's crazy to jump back into the cauldron but it's his life. it's obvious he misses coaching.

i think meyer's a prick... i believe he thinks the coaching pecking order in the SEC was he and saban followed by everybody else.
it would be one thing if he took some significant time off, but a single season - he just needed a reason to bail out of gainesville. it is an ugly, ugly divorce.

I think Meyer will be a thing of the past for Gators. LSU has to play Saban every year - I think it makes a difference.

I fail to understand why people get their feelings hurt over a person making a business decision. Brother Oliver made a business decision to go to Auburn and there are still people in Alabama that are mad at him.

His last 3 recruiting classes were:
2008: #3
2009: #11
2010: #2
...and the class the Muschamp eventually inherited was #12.
Unless you are referring to the fact that he never landed the second coming of Tim Tebow?
