To be fair, while the top is probably the best it's been in a really long time, the middle of the sec is pretty bad this year.

Top three are off the charts, 1,2, and 3 in the nation heading into the last week of regular season. Next two GA and USC are legit top 15, GA possibly a bit higher. I would put those two against any fourth and fifth place teams from other conferences.

Top 3 are stout, and UGA is very solid as well. However, it's a 10 story drop to the remaining 8.

Who has Georgia beaten? The only SEC team with a conference winning record they beat is Auburn. You could not design an easier path to Atlanta. They struggled with Kentucky yesterday. GA is terribly over rated.

Overrated? I think that fourth or fifth in the SEC is about right, not overrated. And I would take UGA over most every other conference's fourth team.

A quick look at AQ conference standings with the question, "How would UGA fair against the fourth ranked team in other conferences?"

ACC
UGA vs Wake Forest, Florida State or Georgia Tech

Big East
UGA vs. Cincinnati, Pitt or West Virginia

Big XII
UGA vs. Baylor or Missouri

Big 10
UGA vs. Michigan or Wisconsin

Pac 12
UGA vs. UCLA, Washington, Arizona State or Utah

I'd say UGA would fair pretty well but I surely don't see a "sweep" in play. We'll even get to find out to some degree next weekend when the Dawgs face SEC turncoats Georgia Tech.

SEC West is a killer division with #s 1,2, and 3. If UGA and USCe win out, the SEC will have five 10 (or more) win teams. Not bad.... Any other conference able to say that?
