I'm a Bama fan and a LSU fan this week

LSU could do Bama a huge favor by beating Arkansas this next week - If Arkansas was to upset LSU, Arkansas now at 3 could jump Bama and be ranked 1 and LSU drops to 2 leaving Bama at 3 and out. You would then see LSU wanting a rematch in the MNC.

Agreed. I actually want LSU to win now. That would ensure that Arky can't jump us and makes LSU play an extra game.

Why does everyone blow off the so-called extra game? That game just happens to be for the SEC title. If you ask me, winning the SEC is more desirable and more impressive than winning the BCS anyway. Who doesn't think looking back now that Auburn wouldn't have beaten USC in 2004 or any one of three or four SEC teams wouldn't have beaten Texas in 2005?

Pretty sure the BCS NC just became the SEC championship game this year. Good luck with the playoff game.
