the 2nd best team in the country. I wish we could say this is a form of humility on their part, but we all know that is impossible.

Since Bama got their shot, as did Oregon, if we win out any team that plays us could be playing for a share of the championship at best.

They're still in the denial and bargaining phases.

Wait until they don't get the rematch. It'll be the anger phase on steroids. Good times.

That may be more entertaining than the championship game.

Same for you if Arkansas spanks that arse at home. Lots of football left this year.

Give it a rest. LSU isn't going to lose to Arkansas at home, and you're not getting a rematch.

Everyone in the country is saying we have a shot now. Our biggest hurdle lost last night. So yes, we're so crazy being #3 that #2 lost. Wow, we're all in full retard mode.

Except again, everyone in the country is saying we have a shot again. Well, except LSU fans - why is that now?

Here's what's funny as shite. Over the last 2 weeks, I think most bama fans realized that they wouldn't play for the BCS NC game and so did LSU. The threads died down immensely.

Then OSU loses...

BOOM! LSU fans jumped on this site and spouted more reasons why bama can't play in the title game. Except they've got 1 less reason (OSU) of why we can't.

I think the odds increased GREATLY towards bama playing in the NC game. Why?

1) #2 lost. This was the biggest hurdle
2) If OU beats OSU, OU probably won't jump bama now.
3) Oregon is still the biggest obstacle to potentially hurdle Bama but I don't think the voters will do it listening to game day etc today.

Seriously, LSU fans don't like it (wonder why?) but everyone from CNNSI, ESPN and all of TV is saying "right now", it's a rematch.

It may not happen still... but you have to admit - odds just swung straight to bama.

See the part where I stated "if LSU wins out..."

If there is a rematch and gump wins by a field goal, you really don't see a split title? That being said, we shouldn't have to play gump or Oregon, been there done that. That would be like choosing to an ex over some new strange.

This is what I don't understand the clinging to hope. Bama was held to less than 100 yards rushing for the game at HOME. LSU had 148 rushing yards against Alabama at Alabama.

Alabama would have the crystal, that's all that matters right LSU fans (see 2003)? But no, I don't see a split title in that circumstance.

This whole Paterno shakedown may very well end up costing them a berth in the BCS game.
