We had Oregon beat by 3 touchdowns and they scored their final one in mop up time. Final score was 40-27 and they ended up with 335 total yards and only 95 rushing "we held LMJ to 54yds.".
The next games goes like this: 69 points scored on Nevada with 603 total yards with 272 rushing, scored 56 against Missouri St. with 681 TY and 416 Rushing, 56 points on AZ with 516 TY and 415 rushing, 43 points against Cal with 563 TY and 365 rushing! I could keep writing these crazy #'s, but just know that they scored 41,45,43,34, and 53 against Standford.

So they really have improved, but it looks like it was just 7 days after they played us. I wanted to put this out there, because Oregon will beat USC tonight by 14 and all the media will be claiming how great they are and how much improved they are by beating a decent USC team. They have not improved any more than we have and do not deserve another shot. Everyone knew it was important to beat Oregon at the first of the year because they would run through the Pac and we could give them their only loss to take them out of contention!

i think what he is saying is that they haven't actually improved. Seeing that they came out the week after we stomped them and became the force they are now.

I don't believe they improved that much their only improvement is after week one they didn't have the #1 defense in the nation on the other side of the ball

What's funny is that while everyone is saying that Oregon is much improved, people seem to forget that LSU is, too. Doesn't anyone remember the chaos and controversy surrounding the LSU football team in the week before the game? They lost their starting QB literally a week before the game. Despite that, however, they still kicked Oregon's arse.

I totally agree with your post. I am sick of this Oregon has improved shite. What about LSU has improved? Do people not think after the meat grinder of the SEC that LSU is not seasoned now. Its funny that these experts think Oregon can compete after running through the PAC 12.

What are you talking about. We couldn't have improved. I mean we our new OC stepped down 1 month before and our offensive line coach took over the position. Less than a week before the game we lost our starting QB "who runs a different style of offense than our backup", and Russell Shepard was told he couldn't start so we had to expect a lot more out of true freshman recievers!!!!!!!

Oregon always improves when they stop playing SEC teams. Last year, for some reason, that Oregon team really regressed for the BCSNCG. This year, after a uncharacterstically slow start in their first game, they have improved greatly.
