Bama fans- Is this your best defense ever?

I think this is LSU's best defense ever. If this isn't Bama's it surely has to be top 3 right? Scary good.

I'm gonna say it's the best I've ever seen. It's very likely they finish the season holding opponents under 100 pts. 12 games and doing that, is absolutely dumbfounding to me, especially considering offenses are more sophisticated and the quality of athletes today.

If that isnt the best defense that they have ever fielded, my God!! They were absolutely fantastic.
Isnt it amazing that a lot of fans (non-SEC for the most part) found this game to be uninteresting? What is better than old fashion smash-mouth football played by such immesnsely talented and evenly matched teams?

I think so. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, granted I had a dog in the fight. But still, just an insane display of great defense on both sides of the ball. How, as a football fan, can you come away uninterested after watching that?

It's amazing. I live in Ohio and everyone thinks it was a boring game, and Ohioans say they are good football fans.

It will be the best statistical defense Alabama has had since 1992. I don't think many people will ever give it the "best ever" label without a title.

Agree. And better than the 1992 defense. I would rank the 1992 second and 2005 third behind this year's.

I will, even without a title. The offense just hit another defense that was pretty damn good.

No doubt in my mind Alabama would shut Oregon down like we did, if not worse.

I would too. I remember the 92 D well, and as good as it was, this one is better.
