Key assertions:

1. With a win over Ole Miss, LSU will likely play in the SECCG, even with a close loss to Arkansas (assuming Alabama beats Auburn).

2. A rematch in the BCSCG is unlikely. If OU beats Oklahoma State, OU would likely play in the BCSCG.

3. LSU likely plays for the BCSCG even if it loses one game against Ole Miss, Arkansas, or Georgia.

negative ghostrider. I will put a 2 month ban bet that if Alabama wins out and OKS loses, Bama is in.

lol that guy isn't worth listening to if he thinks an 11-1 arkansas team would have a worse computer ranking than Oregon.

LSU would murder OU. I don't think OU survives the next two weeks though.

Oklahoma would have a better record, and would be a conference champion, and would have played while Alabama was idle on championship weekend.

If OU beats Oklahoma State, I am in agreement with lsumatt.... Oklahoma will be selected to play in the BCSCG.

I just read until I found something obviously wrong in his post. There is zero chance an 11-1 or even 12-1 Oregon has a higher computer ranking than an 11-1 Arkansas. He is just another biased poster.

Alabama is undefeated in regulation
Only lost by 3 points in overtime to the #1 team in the nation
Put up better numbers than the #1 team in the nation

Oklahoma got beat by a shitty TT team.

Ask yourself who YOU had rather play in the BCSCG and I promise it isn't Alabama. Everyone knows we are the 2nd best team in the country.

Exactly. I've literally never heard of this nerd until he was on the Sirius XM College channel 91 on Jack Arute's show. Arute isn't a big fan of the SEC and the hype it gets and he has this no name "expert" on his minimizes the SEC and really talks up the Pac 12 and Big 12. The "guru" actually knocked Arkansas's close win over Texas A&M while talking up Okie State yet conveniently overlooked the fact that A&M barely lost to Okie State as well.

I'm almost to the point where I just want Okie State and LSU to win out so insecure LSU fans will stop making ridiculous threads about why LSU can lose games and still make the title game or why Oregon, Oklahoma, and even Houston are more deserving to play LSU in the title game than either Bama or Arkansas.

I'd rather play anyone other than Oregon or Alabama.

Not because of "who is better"...But because LSU already beat them both. Give someone else a chance to beat LSU.

Hell, LSU beat Oregon on a neutral field with our backup QB and beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. Both teams had their opportunities, and failed. I have no problem with OU getting the nod over two teams that already had their chance.

The winner of OU/OSU is in if they win out.

The #1 team knows this. We know this well. Because we're the reason you're #2.

Why doesn't the 2nd best team in the nation deserve that shot? Isn't that the point of a championship game?

Was that some sort of jab or gotcha? I already stated this.

You already had your shot. Don't act like you weren't ever given a chance.

And it's highly subjective that Alabama is indeed the second best team in the country...If OU or Oklahoma State were to beat LSU, Alabama is definitely not the second best team in the country. And if LSU were to beat OU or Oklahoma State, then you may very well be the second best teams, but it would be moot anyway because LSU would have beaten everyone in the Top5, making any rematches unnecessary.

it is plain by all the rematch threads that LSU fans want nothing to do with Bama again.
