I love my hogs just as much as any hog fan but lets get real here. We have a few to many weak spots to be considered a top 3 team this year. We are a legitimate mid top ten at best this year. But I will say that I think we have got the coach on board that can one day get us there, although Willie may have to go to make it to that level. We need us some serious defense.

Yeah I agree that's being generous to Arkansas. We're solid but I don't think our defense is good enough to say we're a top 3 team

Defense has played better the past 2 weeks, they are improving and finally getting healthy.
That said, ir's Bama & LSU then everyone else. Oregon is soft. Neither OU or Okie lite have strong defenses, IMO.

I agree. I think its definitely debate worthy. You can't rule out Arky, at this point in the season, having better def than OKst, Oregon and OU and I think they're worthy of being top 3.

I suppose that's true, I forget how weak other conferences are in terms of defense.

Top 3 right there. Any other team in that third spot could be argued but I think we belong there over Oregon and the Okie schools.
