SEC official responded in kind by making Jake Beguette SEC Defensive POW.
First off although its a vicious hit, JB leans to the left with his facemask, hits Conner flush and properly wraps up Conner all the way to ground. He doesnt try that blow em up bullshite you see now days
Spurrier has turned into a little whiny bitch.
Last year he bitched and moaned to refs on the sideline about a perfectly legal hit on Shaw because his stupid arse slowed up on the the sideline

My recommendation for shaw is to get the frick out of the way when bequette comes in pretty much unblocked.....might help him to remember his name at a later point in time.

I never got that at all. It was like Shaw thought he was out of bounds and just stood there.

Spurrier routinely reports all missed calls to the SEC. Not that it helps -- no defensive line has been flagged for holding since we played UGA. But at least one coach cares both for the safety of his players and the quality of the officiating in the SEC.
Quite frankly, after what the Refs did to the piggies in the Swamp a couple of years ago, I would expect Flagship fans to applaud any coach who reports bad officiating.

He was trying to be cute and let up before the sidelines while "sneaking" in an extra yard or two.
I do not believe he has continued to employ this strategy.

He should report all missed calls however that play wasn't a bad call....it was as clean a hard hit as possible. Perfectly legal.
