Ok, Bama fans. Most of us Tiger fans have had our fun rubbing your noses in the defeat. Both of our fan bases can be out of line at times, but we all know how much losses like this hurt.

Props to both teams for giving us two weeks of excitement, building up to this game. It was the absolute battle it promised to be and I gained a tremendous amount of respect for Trent Richardson and his never give up mentality on carries. Gutsy effort and your season is far from done. If we don't see you in the BCS Title Game, I hope you show Boise State what Alabama football is all about.

Yep, I would not want to try to tackle him.
Ever.

I think I'd rather try to stop a golfcart going down hill than that guy. I still put him #3 after Herschel and Bo since 1980 in terms of SEC dominating RB's.

Something tells me there are some Alabama guys texting each other right now about meeting at Hibbett's or Academy at lunch to buy you some equipment to take you up on this.

Richardson and Hanks are someone to be feared.

I believe if Hanks get a finger tip on the ball it is a reception.

Trent - enough said!

He's an easy out if you get him before he has momentum. The problem with that is he seems to get full momentum by the third step. If you don't get him at the line of scrimmage, he's GONE. What a beast.

Theres not another RB that can do what he does. Still the play that stands out in my mind isnt even from offense. When he was returning a kick off his own teammate ran up to him when the caught the ball in the endzone and was telling him to stay and Trent just ran past him, where anyone else shoulda got tackled around the 5-10 yd line because the cover team was down there, he gets to the 25

That's what sickens me about the national media making this out to be two inept offenses who simply couldn't score. People like that have no clue how amazing TR and the LSU D-line (and LBs who aren't getting enough credit) were in that game. Two immovable forces butting heads. The D-line would win a few, then TR would win a few. As bad as some of the playcalling was by McIlwain at times, getting TR the ball in space with those throws was huge, especially in the first half.

As for the LSU offense, Bama did a fantastic job of stopping the run in the first half, and a fantastic job of getting pressure on Lee when he had to pass. I know he didn't look good, but I really don't think Luck, Weeden or Keenum would have fared much better. JJ was able to soften up the D just enough to give us some room to run and to complete some balls.

It really was a chess match.

If you somehow find a way to frick up against Arkansas, I'm going to make it a point to find you on here and rub it in your face for like a week.

Yea I gotta say T-Rich is a helluva back. He's gonna make an easy transition to the pros IMHO. His vision and ability to catch and cut make him the total package. I don't want any part of trying to tackle him.
