I've grown up tailgating my entire life at LSU. I've also visited many SEC venues. This weekend was my first trip to T-Town. What I witnessed was incredible. Had to have been at least 250k people on campus, which is a gorgeous campus. Quad was phenomenal. Fans were extremely friendly and helpful.

It pains me to say this was the best college football experience I ever witnessed. Thanks to the Bama people for making this trip such a fun time. You guys know how to throw one gigantic party and do so with class.

There is a 10 page thread on the OT on how Bama is the worst/most overrated sec experience.

Thanks though. Glad you had a good time. Good luck the rest of the way.

Football is what we do. And that's pretty much it. Might as well do it right.

You can add basketball to that list though pretty soon.

I guarantee you, the only people that feel that way are the LSU students that were acting obnoxious and drunk during the pregame. They were embarrassing and got what they deserved.

There is not a single sane person that was there that can honestly say it's overrated. It's actually opposite, underrated, if Saturday is anything close to normal. I mean, name one campus that has what, 300k people walking around game day, 2/3 of which don't have tickets?

It was a beautiful day. The quad, campus, and the strip were crawling with hot chicks. Liquor flowing freely and very good eats. Had a dozen or so LSU fans with us. They had a great time and all wanted to come back. Glad you had fun.

I grew as an LSU fan in Birmingham and now live in BR. Tailgating at LSU for a big game is on another level from Bama, take it from me.

If the game last night had been in BR, the city would have friggin' exploded.

Unless you've been to a game in Tuscaloosa recently, you're talking out-of-bounds. There's no comparison to how things are set up now, to when I was a student.

Glad you had a good time, I know I did too. It was an incredible day, and while we did not come out on top, it was an honor to experience it.

I've been to three LSU/Bama games in Tuscaloosa and their fans were always fantastic and cordial to us.

To be fair, that does not happen every game at Bama. This was just a special game

It's still pretty incredible for an average game like FIU or Vanderbilt.

This was a very special game, but, honestly, the tailgaiting and crowds are excellent in Tuscaloosa, even for the non-conference games.

I'm not trying to diss Tuscaloosa, it's always been fun when I've gone. I'm just saying every game isn't like yesterday's environment, that was incredible

This is all I'm saying.

Play that game last night in BR and there's nothing left of the campus. The place would have been torn down.

Closest thing I can remember to yesterday was Georgia 2003 or Florida 2007. Georgia 03 had to have 150,000 people in campus and it was crazy.

Nah, he'll no. Just giving props where due. Did you go?

I've never been there before. Never seen so many people or tailgate setups. And every person from there that we interacted with were damn good people. And their chicks were hot as hell. These people know how to put on a party.

Only negative was no one offered us a taste of their tailgate, but we didn't ask either. And, from where I sat in the upper deck, stadium is not as loud as TS, but it's damn well electric.

Bama beats the shite out of LSU, tailgate, campus, stadium, and our fans are embarrassing. We look like a bunch of Jersey shore rejects
