As a LSU fan watching the game last night without a doubt in mind Trent is the best team in the country. 80 yards on the ground and 80 receiving against that D. He is a beast. I hope we get to show how bad Luck looks in January.

Absolutely! I was in owe when he would just run over our guys. The whole Alabama team is outstanding and the coaches the same.

STATS

From my drunken memory it seemed LSU had him shut down

160 yards was considered contained for him. That is why he deserves it.

I don't agree, Luck is phenomenal. A very special QB.

Why is everyone putting TR on a pedestal? Who has Alabama played? LSU and Arky. TR is held to less than a 100 yds rushing against the only good defense Bama has played all year!

If Luck beats Oregon. No matter how he plays, you can wrap it up and send it to him.

The media wants to give it to him so bad, there is nothing any other player could do to win it.

At the end of the day the winner has to have ridiculous stats don't they? Has Luck looked that good this year? I don't watch him.

I was worried for 2 weeks that he would have a Heisman moment on us. Good luck to Trent in the NFL next season. Glad this beast is moving on.

Luck's stats 2424 yards, 71.3% completion rate, 26 TDs 5 Ints, 174.1 QB rating.

Trent's stats 1078 yards rushing 6.3 yards per carry, 17 rushing TDs, 23 rec., 292 yards receiving, 1 TD, and here is fun fact against LSU on the year it was the first time he didn't find pay dirt. The kent state game the first game of the season is the only game he had less then 100 combined yards. Bama fan back me up but wasn't he hurt or something in that game?

If I had a vote it goes to Trent.

And one more thing Trent is in a position to have better stats except maybe total rushing yards then when Ingram won the Heisman. 1658 rushing yards 17 rushing TDs, 334 receiving yards 3 TDs, 6.1 yards per carry.

Absolutely but the nation outside of LA and AL is in love with throwing TDs so I'm sure Luck will get it.

When has "deserving" been the only criteria for the Heisman?? That trophy is a joke.

Is this serious? What a crock. The SEC is down this year and apart from LSU there are no great defenses. Now you just have to play for the #1 or #2 team in the land and average what - maybe 100 yards a game?

Tell me when he has Herschel or Barry Sanders numbers bro.

This would be the second time an Alabama player stole it from a Stanford player just because the Bama team got more publicity and was full of incestuous voting.
