A little help Bama fans. Are there a lot of Taxi services in Tuscaloosa? We got a big group staying 7 miles from stadium and I'm fairly confident that none of us will be able to drive back Fri or Sat night. Is it tough to get a cab around there?

I like the Limo Taxi...that way my drunk arse can go home in style!

Good luck with that. I haven't heard a lot of good reports of taxi service in Tuscaloosa.
Probably just as good of a bet to hitch a ride.

No chance on a game weekend. You'll be waiting forever.

You can probably average 3.5 miles an hour by walking.

I have had no problem getting a taxi on gamedays here. I have to wait a while, but I get one. I call an hour or so before closing time and they have been there within 15 mins after the bar closed.

Where are you staying? There are a few shuttle buses that run to the mall lots, I think. This may get you part of the way depending on which way you are heading.

Most people are not going to call an hour ahead.

If I am in condition to call an hour ahead I will go ahead and consider the night a failure.

In five years of living in Tuscaloosa, I never heard of anyone using a taxi.

Sterling Limo Cab is usually pretty good. They have some buses too, if you have a crowd. Gameday will be tight, but I bet if you call this week and try to set up a shuttle or something they might go for it...

Ask the price up front. Some of the services are shady.
