Is Chizik a "flash in the pan"?

After watching Auburn get dismantled on Saturday, I'm wondering if Chizik will have long term success in the sec. It seems as though all this high tempo/no huddle crap really only works with very special/athletic qb's. These don't come around all that often.
My guess, Auburn will continue to be mediocre, Chizik will never win the west again, and will be fired from auburn in 2017.

How is this year for Chizik any different than the season after Miles lost two games and won the national championship?

he's the perfect 'coach' for AU.

you would have to be able to predict the future to know for sure. he's surrounded by good coaches and recruits well so my present opinion is no, he's not a flash in the pan; he be legit.

Meh. Auburn is a good program. They are recruiting better than ever. Chizik is good enough to keep it going at a level Auburn is used to (i.e., NC every 50 years or so, j/k).
I do think LSU and Bama will be better programs than Auburn most years as long as Miles and Saban are there though.

No Chiz isnt even a flash. Cam Newton was the "flash" and without him Auburn would have sucked last year.

I agree excpet I dont think he makes it to 2017. People in the state of Alabama worship college football and hate losing. Auburn wont give him that long. He will be gone withoin 3 yrs, book it.

Not sure if you remember it or not, but after LSU won the BCS in '07, in '08 the got blasted by FL, GA, ARK, Ole Miss, and AL, and went 8-5. FL hung 51 pts on you. Was Les Miles a flash in the pan?
