How did Terry Joseph get a job coaching DB's in D-1?

I know the guy comes from a famous football playing family in Louisiana, but man,he never played college football and our DB's are getting worse not better. People complain about #10 M.Teague being awful and he does get burned but my old high school asst coach at Antonio London/Steve Matthews at Tullahoma..Shawn Summers,The Late Richard Howard/The RB who signed with Alabama Shaun??/The McAddley Kid and the Gipson kid who signed with Bama and Florida/..and he swears Teague is the best and smartest player he ever coached. Urban Meyer flew into Paris, Tn to try to keep Teague. Peckerheads #1 and #2 were fighting over him for a WR/DB their only year at UT. And now the guy looks lost. All the db's look lost. What's the deal with Joseph?..I know he's recruiting coordinator but as a DB coach he doesn't seem to be cutting it...Anybody know how this guy got a job in D-1 coaching DB's?
