I believe this will 1 of the most important matchups in the game. Faulk has been playing like an All American & Upshaw has been the unsung hero on Bama's defense! A problem for everyone! Which ever player gets the best of the other Team will win the game!

There's no need to yell.

Just because you got demolished by both teams playing in their biggest game of the year doesn't mean we don't want to talk about it.

I wouldn't consider Upshaw unsung or blockable.

I'm an LSU alum. I've made this quite clear. See the sig.

ETA: Also, since you're apparently slow, I was making fun of the number of exclamation marks.

disagree with this. Courtney Upshaw is the scariest mofo on the team.

he wont beat out Barret Jones for All-SEC. but i'll admit he has been playing very good. best on your oline, as far as i can tell.

Bhoy did that throw a wrench into the next response.

What? in the games that mattered he harassed the QB's was all over them. I don't know about the games vs weak QB's but ask Tyler Wilson! I bet he still has nightmares! That game reminded me of Nick Fairley last year 1 player dominating so much it messes up an entire offense.

Actually I'm more interested to see how Fluker handles Mingo and Montgomery, it's going to be tough for him.

Faulk will def be ALL-SEC, they put 2 offensive tackles on the team.

When i say "Unsung" i mean that all the talk is #21 & #30, when Upshaw has been the catalyst! Dude's a Beast! I hear you about Jones but right now Faulk is playing like the best OT in the SEC! It's tough to overtake an OL for postseason honors when he is doing good, so i agree Jones may get it. Then again this game could tell the story. No sacks from either and we may have an answer!

Most All Conference teams don't even differentiate 4 of the 5 positions, Center is usually the only position they separate.

It usually ends up being 4 LTs and a Center filling out the line...

Uh thats what I said, I cant remember a game where he was shut down, all game. He is probably the best pass rusher in the league, maybe even in the country.

You and a few other may say that. And while neither are a difintive weak spot Barron, Upshaw, and Menzie are the best on the team.

That's where BMW comes in. He's usually right beside Fluker anyway, but they probably won't send him out for many route against LSU(not that he goes out for many anyway).

Smelley seems to have come on as a passcatcher, so it wouldn't be a problem keeping BMW at home. I was completely wrong about Smelley, I thought he'd be benched by now...

national media pundits are mostly arse clowns. Upshaw is the guy that keeps QBs up at night. he's excellent against the run and the pass. hightower moves around on the front 7 more, which also creates a huge pain in the arse for QBs and d-coordinators, but upshaw is more productive than donta.
