How do you feel about the improvements being made? Is this something to get excited about or are we chalking this up to inept offenses we have faced in the last few weeks other than Arky? They put up decent numbers, but we did hold them to their 2nd lowest total this year.

Game 1 Utah State 448
Game 2 Miss State 531
Game 3 Clemson 624
Game 4 FAU 307
Game 5 USC 289
Game 6 Arky 438
Game 7 Florida 198

Been really impressed with how the run defense has come along.

I believe they're growing up as the season progresses, and perhaps Chizik is taking a more active role as well..

The defense has improved, still a lot of room to improve but it is getting there. USC it looked good as well as against UF last week and the second half of the Ark game, contrary to believe Petrino did not take his foot off the gas.

We are not a dominant defense but you can see this will be a tough on later this year and just mean next year.

Defense has looked much improved over the last 3 games. Even the Arky game they played better despite the points and yards given up. Toro playing MLB has been huge, Lemonier has become very good and the rest of the d-line has really stepped up.

They are not a top d, but have gone from a pathetic D to a respectable/middle of the pack type D.

We could have passed in the 2nd half and rolled up 600+

Making progress for sure, but got handed a battered, tired and injured Fl team this last weekend.

LSU doesn't exactly have a great offense. We will be fine.

This week will tell us what we need to know, but clearly this defense has improved from early in the season.

The offense on the other hand went backwards when they started helping the defense by playing more ball control.

And Auburn doesn't exactly have an average defense.

Our offense is much better than Auburn's. But your defense will try and succeed at times, just won't be enough.

Your offense will lose this game for you.

We have played well over the last couple games. We will keep the game close, before finally losing it in the 4th.

Ranked 60th in points given up. That's about as average as you can get. And that's considering the massive number of points we gave up early in the year.

Yep 35+pts a game and 10 tds passing with 1 int is terrible offense. Our shite offense hung up 41 on florida While y'all scored 16

Our offense is nothing flashy but at the end of the game you will look up at the scoreboard and wonder where all those points came from. That being said, I do think your defense has been improving and has benefitted from playing less than stellar offenses.

How much did LSU give up to Florida? We only gave up 6. See how stupid that argument is?
