Folks, the REC has a recruiting celebration in the Zone on Signing day... What you guys mention about lunches is true, BUT it does not stop there, Does it really matter, no. Lets just play football.

If you do not believe that infuential REC members support families of recruits, you never will. If you do not believe that recruits families work for Bama Boosters, you never will. Bama's group just has a name and is better organized. This is not some made up BS, this is a fact. It has been going of for a long time and is not about to stop.

Now, can we just play some football.

The Red Elephant Club

Is not what rivals fans - or the OP - want to make it out to be. REC doesn't have nearly the influence as a group that the OP alluded to. Certainly there are select members who have huge influence, but it has nothing to do with their membership in REC and everything to do with their financial contributions &/or connections.

quote:

No other program that I know of has such an organized and recognized group whos primary purpose is steering recruits to Alabama... They target recruits and then put influence on certain players. This starts in the 7th grade (maybe sooner)

This has to be a joke. Has to be. No one is that stupid.

Ours are the Disney Dawgs. All the anti-Richt folk are just piss-poor and have little influence on decison making Heard today that after the UT win that Richt is almost assured to be back next year. Disneys must've gotten laid on the Tennessee River this weekend

Back from a nice refreshing dip in the fever swamp I see.

BTW, if you decode the VIN on Tre's ride, the hidden message is, "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine."

No SECr thread is truly complete without an LSU fan complaining about refs.

Thanks! You've bumped this thread up to self-actualization level!
