I was never sold on OU at No.1 but they're looking pretty good today.

Extremely. I'd be surprised if OU kept it within 10.

See the Alabama-Arkansas game for comparison.

LSU and Bama would both bend UT over. Not sure how we would handle OU.

Would be a good game. They are solid on offense and defense. But this TX team is not good so don't read too much into it. TX QBs are not ready at all and the whole team is very young.

There's no way Jones and his WR play pitch and catch like this on LSU or 'Bama's Secondary.

A better comparison would be OU vs. FSU, who made it much tougher for OU to go down the field, and even they don't compare to LSU/'Bama

As confident as I was the Gators would beat "the greatest offense in college football ever" in 2008.

Texas is horrible.

With their recruiting, how could they be that bad. Unreal

Lsu matches up better IMO, but think either team would probably win. OU isn't balanced enough on offense.

I will say that any team with good athletes that runs this hurry up offense is kind of scary to play.

I know this ultra hurry up offense is within the rules, but I still just feel like it is kind cheap and bush league. I feel like I am just watching a team that is just trying to go as fast as they can until they finally catch you off guard for a big play. Really shifts the whole game to the offense. It is what it is, but the overall quality of play just seems to suffer with this ultra hurry up style.

OU is the most complete team in the Nation IMO.

They did. And, if we're up by 20 controlling the game with ease against OU like we were against WVU, the gameplan will be the same. Keep them in front of you, tackle, make them chew up the clock. Give em' all the yards they want, just make them use all the precious time to get any points at all.

Yup, I don't get it. Lackluster coaching and development I guess...

I think OU is the most overall athletic, well rounded, and well coached team in the Big12. They would certainly give a better game than arky, Penn state, and oregon.

Why because theh blow out creampuffs? And theh cannot run as well as bama which is the ultimate difference.

i'm confident because they are not a good running team and their special teams are not top drawer. those are two very big weaknesses. yes, a team has to have a very good DL and secondary to stop (slow down) their offense but i think they can be beaten.

if yall had a secondary, y'all would beat them.

They would have pretty much no chance of running on us. The only thing that would worry me slightly is the hurry up stuff but they'd just have to sling it all day long and I think you have to be able to run on us to beat us. Even if its 30 carries for 100 yards or something like that, you have to keep us honest.

I'm not totally convinced by McCarron yet but I would feel pretty confident.
