We have let Ole Miss stay in the conference with a tradition of losing. Hell, the only thing they do right is a good picnic before every loss.

MSU is still here with their cowbells despite the fact that the their last conference title came before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

I think it will be great to have them in the conference and look forward to a trip to College Station.

Have you been paying attention at all? They are weird. Really weird. It's going to take some real getting used to.

No, their picnics suck. The Grove is beyond overrated.

There will always be the lower class citizens. Farmers just happen to normally fall into that class.

Their traditions are gay, their football team sucks, and their fans are hilarious for trying to defend both.

Thanks.

I'm looking forward to visiting Knoxville and Nyland Stadium. Never been to Tennessee, so I'll have to hit hit Memphis, Lynchburg then catch the rest when we play Vandy.

By the way, Robert Nyland played football at A&M and Davie Crockett is a Texas hero.

It's okay if everybody hates. We're kinda wrecking the shop by joining. I can understand.

P.S. your sig pic is AWESOME!!!

You will enjoy College Station and the gameday experience, don't listen to some of these people on here who have never been (cue people to claim they have been and say they were freaked out). A few of our traditions may seem weird, but they're not harming anyone and they've been done for a really long time. I can't wait to make a trip to Knoxville.

Hey, if we can get used to jorts in Gainesville and overalls in Knoxville, surely we can learn to tolerate the milk man outfit.

Yeah, that makes sense seeing as neyland was a war hero, too. But at the same time, Quentin Tarantino is from Tennessee. Sort of a toss-up in regards to notable residents. JK, Al Gore ruins Tennessee :P

These guys are not using pom poms but they appear to be very affectionate.

The Aggies are a perfect fit for the SEC.

I'm glad they are coming aboard

this is the right idea: stay in Memphis the night before for pregame partying. Beale St is where it is at.

I don't get the hate either.

Weird is cool. Good grief, I live in Austin and I absolutely love it.

I don't understand all the hate either. Welcome to the SEC. The one's that I have met seem to be nice people and have alot in common with people in the southeast.

I have respect for them for finally telling those assholes from UT to go jump in the lake. They are excited about being here and they really want to be a part of the SEC. Wish them well.

I don't understand why you guys think that it is hate.

Is everybody supposed to welcome them with open arms? There is nothing wrong with a little, good-spirited bullying/hazing.

Very few people that have been making fun of aTm actually hate them. For the most part, people are just using their hilarious traditions as ammo to insult them with.

From what I can tell so far, there seems to be some pretty cool Aggie fans on here. The cool ones know that it is just a little bit of fun at their expense and take it all in stride.

It is the butthurt ones who can GTFO.

I've lived in Houston many years ago and went to a game in College Station when LSU upset the Aggies. Great game day atmosphere back then and I think they will fit in well in the SEC.

Welcome Aboard!!

You will get to know Memphis well when every few years your team peaks and you get to the Liberty Bowl.

Seriously though, Kyle Field is fun. Nice venue and fits in with the rest of the SEC as far as game day atmosphere, at least back when I used to go when the Hogs played there(I know...I'm old...). Bryan/College Station sucks arse though. Nothing like most SEC towns except maybe Starkville.
