I can just see it now, an LSU fan walking on the grass in front of their student union and wearing their hat inside. Wonder what brawl would likely ensue.

Gotta be something on the sacred grass. Some dumbfrick freshman won't know that tradition.

I knew about the grass thing. What's with the hat rule?

It's going to happen a lot. Not out of disrespect, but just ignorance of the tradition. I guess it should be expected when you choose grass as your "monument".

Common military thing. Also popular with anyone born before the 1950s.

There'd be a lot of brawls if everyone that ever walked on that grass or wore a hat inside the MSC (Memorial Student Center ... a memorial to Aggies that have fought and died protecting the United States) got their arse beat. Usually people are reminded politely. If they want to disrespect fallen soldiers they're likely not worth going to jail over. But yeah, most people don't realize that's what it's a tribute to, so once they're informed they typically comply.

But anyone that acts like a jackass will eventually get what they deserve. :)

Nothing will change when/if you learn about them.

I don't know, but I would probably make fun of the tradition of two dudes kissing at midfield before each game.

You're 24 years too late.

I remember in 1987 (when LSU went over and beat A&M 17-3) at least one LSU fan ran out onto Kyle Field after the game. This is a big no-no to them, as only players and cadets are allowed to step on the field. IIRC he got a slight arse-kicking.
