Florida Gator record over last 50 years

With all the talk of expansions and rivalries. I looked back at the last 50 years of UF football, totaled the regular season record and looked at rivals. UGA is the only team that UF has played all 50 years. Unbelievably UF has only played Ole Miss and Alabama 14 times each in the regular season in the last 50 years.

That's because Bama was playing Vandy and Auburn was playing Florida.

Face masks on the helmets I guess. Before that I wasn't born. So didn't matter to me. I could have gone back just 21 years on the Georgia series.

Trust me it's right, unless I missed one game one way or the other.
UT and UF didn't not play very often before 1992 and USC wasn't in the SEC before that.

There is not a whole lot of history between UT and UF before the division format, same can be said of UT and UGA. We have only played UT for the past 22 consecutive years, we only met 19 times before that.

BTW, the Alabama numbers are not correct. UF is 10-14 against Bama since 1961 which is 42%.

The 22 years that you brought up have been fantastic for UF when compared to UT and other SEC East teams.

I didn't count SEC Championship games. Just regular season.

I was only looking at regular season games against SEC teams. We lost to Ark in a bowl game before they were in the SEC. I also didn't count the 2 wins in the SEC Championship game by UF.
