Fellow barners what o line do you think would give us the best run blocking? IMO LT-Mosley LG-Westerman C-Dismukes RG-Burgess(Mack if he'd lose weight) RT-Slade
I think they should work Greg Robinson at RG just to see how he does.
As for pass rushing I think our most effective D line would be Egaue, Sanders, Ford, Lemonier. We need to pressure the pocket and Carter & Whittaker weren't getting it done Saturday.
Thoughts?

Like the lineups now they need aggression, execution, and being physical. If I recall right the big turn for our O Line last year came in the 2nd half of the Clemson game. Wondering if the light turns on for this young line too. I say hell yeah.

(pretty please)

Apparently reporters asked Mosley about the OL situation, and he said we'll have to wait and see where he's playing on the line and wouldn't comment on whether Grimes was making changes in the lineup.

I honestly wouldn't mind Robinson, Sullen, Dismukes, Westerman, and Mosley

That would be awesome, I'd like to see Mack instead of Westerman. I wish he wasn't so damn fat.

I want Westerman in for sure. Kid is an animal in run blocking, which is what we need

I assume you'd move Eguae inside with Sanders?

You'd be giving up a bit just to make it a better passrushing line. It's smaller, so it might struggle stopping the run against a strong OL...

I think he's saying if it's an obvious passing situation, like 3rd & 15 or something. I think that was our DL on Utah St's final drive, and we got a sack and would've had another if Ford wouldn't have gotten tackled

Gonna be a huge bust unless he's changed a lot since he was in high school.

Apparently he has, he is our future at left tackle. Everyone has been impressed with him.

He has. Coaches have said he has the most NFL potential in the whole freshmen class. He's really impressed and is the future LT

Yeah.

I've heard nothing but good things about him, but I don't know what miles's plan is for him this year. We played our starting 5 o-linemen for the entire game against Oregon, but I'm guessing more will see playing time this weekend coming up.

If he doesn't play this weekend, he'll probably get redshirted unless we have some injuries.
