"Coach Saban was clearly not too pleased with OL performance Saturday but stressed it had nothing to do with position shuffling. Said it was more of guys missing blocks."
This bothers me greatly. If our OL is not MUCH better than they showed this past week. Bama will have 3 losses and maybe 4 depending on how good Penn St actually is. I haven't been on much this past weekend so what does the nonsunshine pumping portion of the Bama fanbase think?

The Kent guys were much tinier than they're used to. I think they were having trouble locating them.

Sounds like coach speak to me. He doesn't want it to sound like an excuse. I'm sure Saban knows as well as anyone that position shuffling leads to guys missing assignments.

It is coach speak. He also said the freshmen that played didn't look so great, but most fans would say the opposite. But you'll always have fans that want to point out the negative because they're always convinced of some problem. Saban is one of the biggest "poor mouthers" among coaches. It's easy to pick out a statement and run with it.

I get that but I would have thought they were more dominant against this team. I know they have one guy that is supposed to be drafted off the DL but I thought the OL was the strength of the offense.

They didn't play well Saturday, but there's no point in being concerned unless they continue to struggle after running the same 5 guys at the same 5 positions out there 2 or 3 games in a row.
