What was Florida's record when Emmit Smith was there?

I was arguing the guy won on EVERY level. At Pensacola Escambia, At Florida, and with The Cowboys..I know he didn't win a National Title at Florida but someone said he never won over 7 games in a season?..What was the record when he was there!

1987 was 6-6
1988-89 were both 7-5
He was the offense during that period though. He didn't have too much help.

isn't that the truth,I can remember those 89 Auburn/Georgia games by Donald Douglas.
