Freshmen AJ Johnson and Curt Maggitt have been showing out so far in UT's practices. Johnson is playing Outside Linebacker and Maggitt is playing outside LB and some DE on 3rd down.. You know you are hurting when TRUE freshmen are starting. True CB Justin Coleman has also been showing flashes and maybe pushing for a starting spot..Lots of good young players in Knoxville. It's not "SEC GAME TIME YET" but still. I think Dooley has us headed in the right direction.. https://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2011/aug/09/aj-johnson-curt-maggitt-fitting-in-at-linebacker/

Kentucky beats UT this year for sure.

Oh, really?
Last year we were starting 6 freshmen on offense and won comfortably.

Yeah but we have 10 returning starters on defense and we play in Lexington this year.

That defense that held Bray and Poole to a combined 410 yards last year is coming back? Oh noez.

That will be tough as well. We've only won 14 games in a row against you there.

Doesn't matter if we play on a local high school field in Rhode Island. We still "OWN" Kentucky..

UT has gotten lucky the last few years to win those games.
2006: 17-12
2007: 52-50 4 OT
2008: 28-10
2009: 30-24 OT
2010: 24-14
Kentucky has a great chance this year to end the streak. UT fans can gloat with their 6-7, 7-6, 5-7 year seasons but lose to Kentucky and the Big Blue Nation will never let you forget it.

We're nearing 10,000 days since you last beat us and you'll never let us live something down?

UT is fricked in the front 7. Teams will run the ball on you guys 30-40 times a game.

We wont be any worse than last year but I agree we are fricked.

In terms of wins/losses, I have you guys improving a couple of games. I just think that teams with stellar running games, will run the ball a ton against UT.
