Since the two have been coaching against one another, LSU and Alabama have both beaten each other en route to a national championship. Their record against one another is tied. Bama fans, does it annoy you that Saban doesn't have a winning record against Miles given all the shite yall give LSU fans about having a better coach, Miles being a moron, etc.

Last year, Miles beat Houston Nutt for the first time since 2006

Does anyone out there seriously believe Nutt is a better coach than Miles?

You threw out a bare hook. And the Bama fans have gotten decent around here. If you wanna fill the boat up, fish for Arkansas fans. They'll bite anything.

Les Miles is better than Frank Beamer and he is better than Saban. The week after USA Today touted LSU as potential national champions Beamer out coached Saban and VT bitch slapped LSU. Beamer and VT would have done it another time had the second game not been rescheduled.

I just pictured Mr. Bean in an LSU jumpsuit.

Seemed legit.

Hell no.

2007-2010

Alabama with Saban 43-11, .796 winning percentage, 38-11, .776 winning percentage with vacated wins
LSU with Miles 40-13, .754 winning percentage

Keep in mind that Miles inherited a stacked team while Saban took over a sorry, talent-barren roster that didn't have a single player drafted to the NFL after Saban's first season. So, Saban's 2-2 record against Miles is actually a hell of an accomplishment considering those circumstances.

The Bama/LSU "rivalry" is my second favorite game of the season. There's no hatred or animosity, just great football from two teams that own the sec west.

The fact that they're tied just shows how competitive the two teams are, imo.

While being riculous and illogical, this statement is much better bait. Should get a nibble.

This is what bothers most LSU fans.

quote:

LSU with Miles 40-13, .754 winning percentage

"Backed way" into MNC and since Cholly Mac-ish stats.

quote:

Saban 43-11, .796 winning percentage, 38-11, .776 winning percentage with vacated wins

Undefeated MNC and Bear Bryant-ish stats.
LSU going to medocrity, Bama going to domination.

Do you want to know as an LSU fan who I believe the better coach is? The only coach to win 2 MNC at 2 different universities when both were down prior to his arrival.

It is a method with Saban. It is run-n-gun with Miles and his talent.

FWIW - In a bowl game, I am taking Miles over Saban though.
