Why does Les Miles clap with straight/spread fingers?

Anyone else find this to be odd when he celebrates? Sometimes his hands are even convex when clapping. Looks like a 1 year old.

Because he's Les fricking Miles and he claps however he feels like it. I heard this season he's gonna go barefoot and clap with his feet.
