Any word on the what game CBS is choosing for their primetime slot at night? They typically like to do it around week 5 or 6

It's just going to be based on who's ranked what. They took Florida/Bama last year. There's really no way to tell until the season starts to play itself out.

Auburn v South Carolina has a shot, but a long shot.

Too bad they can't get Arkansas-A&M. That will be the game of the weekend.

It's 10/1 for the primetime game right?

So it's clearly going to be Alabama at Florida. Auburn and South Carolina could theoretically take the spot, but Auburn needs to open undefeated and they won't.

The Arkansas/A&M game will be on ABC or ESPN. It will either be the 2:30pm or the 6:45pm time slot. I think it will be the same as last year in the 2:30pm slot.

Since we know the doubleheader is Oct. 1, Alabama/Florida is a virtual lock for the night spot. AU/South Carolina should be the 2:30 game, but Miss State/Georgia might take it, especially if Miss State beats Auburn and Georgia beats South Carolina.
