When in the heck does Alfy Hill report. I have seen different reports but wasn't he supposed to be here for spring and somethng happened? Will he make it for fall?

How can we be sure this guy even exists? Have you ever seen Alfy Hill? The name just sounds made up.

been told his gpa is holding him back . But I dont know that for sure. He wouldn't see any play time before 2013 anyway.

I just sent him a private FB message to see what he says. It does not make since to me that he would be accidemically ineligible from JUCO because he was making good grades when he enrolled at Alabama. He is still listed as a prospect so may be waiting an open spot. By all accounts he was doing well and Saban said that he got screw by the NCAA so unless something has happened that we don't know about he will report at some point. I have been watching for new info and there really is not any. If he answers me, I will report back waht he says.....fingers crossed.

Hill was the player who:
Cleared the NCAA Clearinghouse.
Enrolled at Bama.
Passed 3 classes during the summer.
Had the NCAA come back and say a class he took as a soph in high school didn't count and he's not eligible and forced to go CC route.

mighta been. I forget what class it was. Just remember it was from 10th grade and he had passed 3 classes at Bama during the summer when they came back and told him, oops.. nevermind, you can't be there.

From other boards it's been back and forth as to if he will get back to Bama. He wants to return, we want him but many "in the know" are very pessimistic that he will be able to return.
He is a big strong kid that could get play time right away. JMHO

Hill just started at the JuCo this past year. it usually takes at least one full year plus a summer and fall to complete your JuCo degree. That would make him a candidate for Dec2011/Jan2012 entry to The University at the end of this fall if his grades are in order. and will likely leave him with 3 to play 3 assumune he redshirts one of the JuCo years.

I was under the impression that once a player went to JUCO they had to graduate to be eligible at a four year school..... has he graduated?
