I don't know if Woodruff did anything wrong or not but I agree with him that the reporters and stalkers are nuts.
We have guys that kill trees. I realize he comes off whiny but you don't want to get in the spotlight on stuff like this. You're going to get more death threats than the president.

Perhaps he did. Were the two of you acquaintances at that time? OR, more likely, he cares more about a situation in which he feels he is not guilty of anything than a situation in which a father admitted to shopping his son's services.
I honestly can't understand why (some) AU fans are trying to compare these two situations.

Because as any lawyer, political consultant or PR person knows, it takes a heck of a lot more time to put out a fire than it does to start one.

The Jeff Lee/Stancil bullshite proved nothing but a diversion created by AU to sidetrack the media attention from your HBO Fab4.

right, it's tough to put a fire out if someone keeps talking, any cop knows that. "You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you..." Don't say anything, fire dies down if the accuser can't fulfill the burden of proof. Case dismissed. However, if Mr. Woodruff keeps poppin his gums, he might slip up and say something that will be used against him.

I seem to recall several Auburn posters questioning why nobody was denying the charges that Lee threw out/made up. Now that they are denying, and it's obvious to everyone that Lee is a complete clown, Auburn fans think it would be better if everyone just let the whole thing die.

I think Darren likes being in the spotlight. The story was starting to die down and then he decides to pop off at the mouth.

What is weird is your reading comprehension. I did not see a denial in this quote. I see someone who is frustrated with RIVALS and the fact that his picture and more importantly his nephew's picture was posted on Auburn Rivals. I personally find that inappropriate.

It is obvious that he did not have evidence and could not prove all his claims (he said so in the interview, but you guys forget that)... What is obvious is that he said DW was not a booster; so is DW a booster or is Jlee a complete clown?(careful how you answer) DW has admitted to providing extra benefits to BC by taking him to Florida.... As I have said FROM the beginning, NOTHING will come from this, but JLee was right about parts of the story. He selected some of his words very carefully. Now he was a clown to mention mortgage payments, cash payments, etc. but again he said he had no proof.

because if each school airs the other school dirty laundry, nobody wins. Right now the state of Alabama dominates college football. You see how the NCAA ruled at Baylor in a similar situation with a "friend of the family" doing favors for an athlete's family. Bama should want this to die down too.
