From @WillGunter247 Twitter page: Word is out now. #SCarolina PG Bruce Ellington will be joining the Gamecock football team at some point this spring. Possibly tomorrow.

Dude is a fricking beast on the football field. If he was a football only guy in high school, he would have been in the rivals top 250 with offers from basically every top program.

Didn't I just read or see where South Carolina has two basketball players who are transferring??? Ramon Galloway their 3rd leading scorer and Stephen Spinella.

If he was such a 'fricking beast' and didn't play basketball in HS, then how in the world did he wind up playing basketball at SC?

Do what? He was a two-sport star at Berkeley. It was widely known that wherever he went, basketball was going to be his priority with football being the fallback option. He came to us mainly because of that. and because he liked both of our coaches.
