I want to respond with something constructive to this thread, but your username is distracting me.

think its a good hire. great recruiter and has turned around some horrid defenses at ga tech, ucf, and fiu. plus has connections in ga and fla in recruting which we definitely need and i heard the guy is just relentless

any bama fans remember him from a few years back. guess he was yall's director of player personnel.

While at Alabama, Collins' was responsible for bringing in the best recruiting class in the history of the school along with being ranked the SEC's and nation's consensus No. 1 recruiting class. The previous year at Georgia Tech, Collins' efforts led to the Yellow Jackets best recruiting class in their storied history. The class finished as the nation's 11th-ranked class overall and first in the ACC.

that is from his bio

Wow, that's quite an accomplishment considering that position doesn't go out and recruit. You guys should be in the BCS bowls in no time then. I think the bio may have a bit of embellishment in it. Jus' sayin'.

I'm sure he'll do well. Congrats.

I think you have him mistaken with Nick Saban.
